Senior Structural Engineer

Insight Global is currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our top civil engineering client.

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, with 20+ years of experience to provide support to our client's team on various industrial projects. An experienced project manager and/or project engineer in the heavy industrial industry. Responsibilities include project management, project engineering, team management, due diligence support, design support, field inspections and verifications, as well as preparation of engineering reports. Each day, candidate will have the opportunity to utilize technical skills as well as collaborate with our regional engineering staff to support process projects in mining, minerals, and metals engineering markets.

Requirements:

20+ years of structural engineering, design, project management, and analysis experience with a concentration in steel and concrete

Working experience of Brownfield Engineering projects as a Project Manager

BS in engineering discipline

Extensive 3D structural Analysis Experience with RISA, RFEM, RAM Steel or similar

Professional Engineer Certification in Utah, other states, or an NCEES record

Plusses:

Professional Engineer Licenses in any of these states: CA, AK, MT, NV, WY, ID, AR, NM, TX

S.E. License in Utah

Experience with business development and commercial proposal writing preferred

Experience in structural design software; RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools a plus

Pipeline, Pressure Vessel, Relief Valve, Pumping Systems experience preferred

Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up experience is preferred

Experience with MSHA/OSHA safety regulations preferred

Candidates with all must haves and plusses can sit remotely in Utah or Southern California

Compensation: $75-$90hr

Duration: 6M Contract to Hire

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
