Regional Manager - Construction Materials & Geotechnical Services

A respected engineering technology group is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a team delivering high-quality construction materials evaluation and technical consulting services. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on project execution, staff development, and client management within a busy and growing division.
What You'll Do:
Oversee team operations with a focus on service quality, client satisfaction, and staff development
Review RFPs, prepare competitive proposals, and maintain contract compliance
Manage staffing, scheduling, and field operations for ongoing and upcoming work
Support and enforce company safety, training, and quality control programs
Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and site visits
Work directly with technical and administrative staff to ensure efficient project delivery
Forecast resources and plan for market fluctuations
Participate in hiring, mentoring, and performance management
Ideal Background:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
2+ years' experience in management/supervision within construction materials testing or related consulting services
Familiarity with Time and Materials and on-call/as-needed contract structures
EIT or PE preferred, but not required
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
