CAD/BIM Drafter - Hybrid - Baltimore, MD

A growing and dynamic MEP engineering firm is seeking a skilled CAD/BIM Drafter to join its collaborative team. This individual will play a key role in transforming sketches, markups, and verbal direction into accurate, professional engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive environment and contribute to the continued success of the CAD department.

️ Responsibilities:

Collaborates with engineers and designers to produce drawings from markups and verbal instructions

Creates PDF and printed drawing sets for internal reviews and project milestones

Maintains company drafting standards across all documentation

Supports the CAD Manager and assists with departmental tasks

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience using engineering design software, preferably Revit MEP and AutoCAD

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Day-to-Day Expectations:

The CAD/BIM Drafter will spend the majority of their day working at a computer, collaborating with the design team to create and revise technical drawings.
