Our client, a theme park and entertainment resort complex, is actively looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Orlando! This role is fully onsite so local candidates are required.

This Controls Engineer will be responsible for performing moderately complex design and development efforts of the facility's Building Management System (BMS) to provide increased reliability, increased efficiency, and operational improvements! The day to day will include monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) performance, updating the system site-wide to ensure proper system operation, and modifying system as required to align with corporate sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
Implement solutions and perform design and/or programming modifications to EMS system equipment on assigned projects to include HVAC Systems, Lighting Control Systems, Aquatic/Pool Systems, and Solar Systems to provide proper control, reliability, and energy efficiency of control systems
Manage assigned projects from design through installation to include project schedules, testing, training and budget demands
Prepare scope of work documents for facility engineering projects
Develop and conduct Acceptance Test Procedures on control systems modifications, generation of maintenance procedures and manual updates (Prepare and conduct maintenance training on controls equipment)
Interface with Technical Services supervisors and managers to resolve EMS/Control system issues
Monitor and interface with vendors/contractors to resolve problems and design issues.
Perform engineering calculations for design, analysis, test and implementation of BMS
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineer is preferred
5+ years of project engineering experience in an engineering environment ideally with Building Management System experience
Extensive knowledge of HVAC control systems
Extensive knowledge of lighting control systems
Ability to write control sequences of operation & create BMS control graphics/diagrams
Analytics skills to perform engineering calculations for design, analysis, test, and implementation of control systems
Knowledge of solar control systems, aquatic control systems and/or experience with Niagara Tridium building control/software/devices are all a plus
