This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager seeking professional growth into a Project Manager role in the next 1-2 years. Open to professionals from a subcontractor or general contractor background with 2-3 years of construction industry experience.
Your new role
Position will report into an experienced Project Manager who will provide excellent mentorship with the aim of developing your skill set into a well-rounded Project Manager and be able to run your own work as time permits.
Management in all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers and communicate with clients.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations
Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager with 2-3 years of commercial construction experience, ideally in interior construction.
Live local to the DC/MD area, with the ability to go into the office in Howard County 3 days a week. Out of state candidates will not be considered for this position.
Ability to travel 1–2 times a month, ad-hoc, not set schedule.
Degree in a Construction related discipline however is preferred, not required.
US Citizen - requirement for the clients they represent, no visa transfer or sponsorship is available for this position.
