Pay: $30-32/hr.

Our client, a leading global chemical manufacturer in Conroe, TX, is seeking an experienced QC Chemical Lab Technician to join their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for a lab professional with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with GC and ICP instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform quality control testing in accordance with SOPs.

Conduct analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Operate and troubleshoot GC (Gas Chromatography) and ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) instruments.

Utilize lab software at the user level to input, analyze, and report test results.

Safely dispose of lab waste in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Prepare, standardize, and label reagents and solutions as needed.

Support inventory management, including receiving and restocking supplies.

Accurately complete shift turnover documentation and maintain proper records.

Adhere to all internal policies, quality systems, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Proficient in GC and ICP testing methods.

SAP experience is a plus, but not required.

Comfortable working a DuPont rotating shift schedule (12-hour shifts; rotating days and nights).

Compensation and Benefits:

$30-$32/hr.

Long-term contract.
