Our client, a leader in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Human Resources Manager to help shape a culture centered on collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement.
Position Summary:
You’ll partner with HR leadership and business leaders to develop and implement strategies around talent management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. You’ll also lead cross-functional HR initiatives and ensure HR efforts align with business goals.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and develop an HR team (if managing people)
Foster a positive, engaging work environment
Provide support in safety, workers' compensation, talent planning, employee relations, and performance management
Guide change management and support company-wide rollouts
Support a multi-shift operational environment
Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of progressive HR experience
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
Background in food distribution, logistics, retail, or manufacturing; sales/commission knowledge a plus
Proven leadership and team management experience
Proficiency with HRIS systems
Experience supporting teams of 250–500+ employees
