Mechanical Engineer

TITLE: Mechanical Engineer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

RATE RANGE: $50/hr - $64/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)

DURATION: 18+ month contract

LOCATION: Florham Park, NJ 07940

CLEARANCE: Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

DESCRIPTION:

As a mechanical engineer you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing hardware for challenging maritime applications.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

CAD mechanical design (especially CREO)

Structural and thermal analysis

Design for harsh environments (especially maritime)

Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards

Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects

Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals

Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
