Position: Embedded SW Engineer (Python & Lua)

Location: Cupertino, CA (Onsite)

Job Details:

In Scope

• Implement Atlas HSIO overlays specific to smartlab for requested products

• Continuously monitor results and do first line triage for issues reported from smartlab regression • For failing tests try to replicate them on local setup using python if needed

• Hardware setup and hardware triage on bench and in lab setting - need to move between labs and buildings.

Out of Scope

• Once an issue has been classified as a diags issue, no expectation to debug the actual diags code. • All hardware will be provided for setup. No expectation to handle ordering or sourcing of hardware.

Success Criteria/Definition of Done

• Deploy atlas SmartLab overlays for upcoming 2025 and 2026 products

• Provide independent triage of overlay failures to either IO Box or Diags failure

• Streamline and make the process simple for future adoptions of new programs - allow for future support and triage by remote support

Required Skills

• Experience writing Lua code

• Experience writing Python code

• Experience writing and debugging test cases

• Hands on HW debug experience with DMMs, Scopes, Analyzers, etc

Preferred Skills • Experience writing C/C++/ObjC
