We are seeking a Sector Content Marketing Specialist to develop and execute targeted content strategies tailored to our B2B customer to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Someone who understands by researching industry trends, audience needs, and competitor activity to create high-quality, relevant content such as blogs, white papers, case studies, and social media posts.
This role involves close collaboration with sales, product, and analytics teams to ensure messaging aligns with business objectives and sector-specific goals. The specialist also analyzes content performance metrics to optimize future campaigns and improve ROI.
What You Will Do:
Develop and implement Digital Marketing strategies to increase lead generation by optimizing website copy and digital adverts (SEO & PPC)
Develop and own the marketing plan by identifying the optimal mix of channels and initiatives (e.g. social media, events, publications, collateral, website, etc.) in alignment with strategic objectives, defined markets/accounts and target buyer personas
Plan, develop and implement targeted lead-generation, data-driven marketing campaigns from initial concept to complete execution, including audience segmentation, contacts pulls, content development, and post-campaign results
Translate complex, technical content into the creation of customer-facing marketing materials that promote the value of Aggreko products and services (e.g. case studies, brochures, flyers, videos, etc.)
Plan and execute conferences and events from start to finish
Conduct market research, and identify current and future customer trends, focusing on B2B
Acquire a detailed technical knowledge of Aggreko products and services and competitive landscape
Create Purchase orders and follow up with vendors
Manage budget, track costs, process payments, and follow up with vendors for timely invoices
Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market
What Skills you Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, communications, engineering or similar industry
3-5 years of Marketing experience in similar role, industry or a B2B company
Proven development of lead generation campaigns (including email, events, digital advertising, social media, etc.) including PR and advertising) that support the marketing strategy, and key sales and promotional initiatives. Analyze campaign effectiveness and share insights, working towards continuous improvement
Market research & competitor insights
Create brochures, case studies, and other sales/marketing collateral
Provide support to the sales team
Responsible for lead generation and Customer journey
Generate strategic messaging for brochures, flyers, case studies, website copy, and other marketing collateral
Organize and participate in events (exhibitions, conferences, hospitality events) and follow up activity management
Reliable, with a high sense of ownership and accountability for driving projects/tasks to completion with a commitment to excellence
Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills
Resourceful and self-starter with a desire to add value
Financial acumen and top organizational skills are a must-have
Platforms & Software knowledge:
Advanced level in Excel: Building Charts/Graphs, Creating & Utilizing Pivot Tables, Sort/Filter Data, Master Formulas & Filters
Advanced PowerPoint to develop compelling Marketing Presentations
Mailchimp & Basecamp knowledge is a plus
Salesforce knowledge
