Experience of the right candidate:
10+ years of experience as a technologist/software developer using modern languages and frameworks (Full Stack & DevSecOps).
Experience with ASP.Net, Python, and AWS.
5+ years of experience at or above a technical lead or management position. Experience managing hybrid teams on site and remote a plus.
Strong project management skills and experience, People management skills are a plus.
In-depth knowledge of system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and application/database performance tuning, optimization, and security
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to conduct C-suite level briefings
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
Lead teams of 5-15 members and oversee software development projects, including planning, design, implementation, and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Liaise with customers and stakeholders (internal or external) to ensure alignment of business goals and technical requirements.
Brief leadership team with project updates.
Design and implement efficient, highly available, and performant cloud software solutions on various platforms and technologies.
Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of enterprise applications.
Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members.
Monitor and manage project financials, including budgets and schedules.
Oversee application operations with a focus on availability, responsiveness, security, and resilience.
Manage software systems and applications against DoD and/or Federal Government security standards as well as other domains and frameworks in the commercial sectors.
Occasionally travel to client sites or other offices for project meetings (~5% travel).
