Back End Developer (Contract)

Groove Jones, a world-renowned and award-winning studio specializing in Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Interactive Entertainment technologies, is currently seeking a Backend Developer for a contract role. The right candidate should have expertise in Entity Framework, ASP.NET, C#, NoSQL, MySQL, AWS and Domain Driven Design. In this role, you will work closely with our team of developers to design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems.

The ideal candidate is proactive, has a thirst for knowledge, and a supportive work ethic. You will be challenged to work with the latest cutting-edge technologies and top clients around the world.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop backend systems using Entity Framework, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Domain Driven Design

Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend systems with frontend applications.

Work with the team to ensure that all backend systems are secure, scalable, and meet performance requirements.

Continuously monitor and optimize backend systems to ensure they perform efficiently.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in backend technology and bring new ideas and solutions to the team.

Requirements:

Strong experience with Entity Framework, ASP.NET, C#, NoSQL, MySQL, AWS, Domain Driven Design, and boilerplate.

Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems.

Strong understanding of database systems and SQL.

Knowledge of cloud computing and AWS.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus:

ABP.io or Asp.Net Zero experience

This is an immediate hire, contract role with the potential for extension based on performance and project needs.
