Job Description:

The Client is seeking mid-level Mechanical/Structural Analysis Engineer to assist an experienced team of mechanical engineers to perform mechanical and structural analysis on one or more spacecraft systems or subsystems.

Basic Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

Principal Mechanical/Structural Engineer 3: Bachelor's degree in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineer, Math or related area (Mechanical Engineering or Degrees with a focus in Structural Analysis highly preferred) and 5+ years of experience or Master's Degree and 3+ years

• Ability to perform structural engineering tasks associated with analysis, design, and/or testing of structures.

• Experience with at the following Mechanical Analysis tools: NX FEMAP/NASTRAN (Equivalent spacecraft structural analysis tools may be considered on a case by case basis).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with spacecraft or subsystem static/dynamic testing

• Experience utilizing MATLAB
