Position Overview
The Project Manager (RPA/AI) is responsible for managing the Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning portfolio. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams—Clinical, Discovery, Finance, TechOps, and Development—to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and implement RPA bots and AI/ML solutions. This position plays a key role in executing and governing the company’s automation strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end RPA and AI/ML implementation projects, including planning, design, development, and support.
Collaborate with internal IT teams, onshore/offshore consultants, and vendors to develop solutions.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand needs and gather automation requirements.
Evaluate existing processes and recommend RPA or AI/ML-driven enhancements.
Drive solution design, development, and change management activities.
Oversee a team of developers, business analysts, and support staff, ensuring productivity and professional growth.
Contribute to strategic and budget planning for digital initiatives.
Ensure compliance with CSV (Computer System Validation), GCP, and other regulatory frameworks.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and promote a high-performance culture.
Other Responsibilities
Recommend and implement policies and standards for digital solutions.
Align with enterprise strategy for RPA and AI/ML.
Maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience working in clinical development environments is highly desirable.
Proven track record in project management and automation delivery.
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including exposure to generative AI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and OpenAI.
Strong understanding of CSV, GCP, and validation requirements.
Communication & Analytical Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
