My client is a U.S.-based renewable energy developer headquartered in Austin, operating as part of a global organization with roots dating back to the 1960's. The company entered the U.S. market approximately four years ago and is now in a high-growth phase, supported by the substantial backing of a very strong parent company, a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. With a goal to become one of the most forward-thinking developers in the U.S, they offer a dynamic environment where you can take a hands-on approach and bring creative ideas to life across each project.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Manage 250 megawatts of energy on 1 project, and 200 mW on the other
Smart grid management
Prepare and maintain budget, schedule reports
Coordinate with contractors, clients, and employees to make sure deadlines are met
Organize field crew tasks and updates
Number savvy for tracking budgets
Make sure they’re upholding all safety standards to close within budget and keep within the deadline
Needs to be in the office on-site in Austin 2-3 days a week
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of experience managing renewable energy or utility-scale projects (PV experience is a plus)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in different locations
Strong understanding of renewable technologies, construction practices, permitting, and interconnection processes
Familiarity with contract management (EPC, PPA, BOP) and project finance structures is a plus
Proficient in MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel to project sites across the U.S. as needed
PMP or similar certification is a plus
