MAINTENANCE MANAGER – INJECTION MOLDING

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Maintenance Manager will oversee a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring efficient operation of molding machines, automation systems, and auxiliary equipment. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement structured maintenance programs with a focus on increasing uptime with predictive maintenance on IMM’s that are all fairly new.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and lead preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance spending.

Work closely with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.

Utilize CMMS systems to track maintenance activities and analyze equipment performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Injection molding maintenance experience is required (any size machines or components).

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of automation and auxiliary systems. PLC programming experience is not required.

Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a hands-on approach.

Familiarity with preventative maintenance strategies and continuous improvement methods.

No degree required, but relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary up to $115,000, plus relocation assistance available.
