CAD Operator

We're Hiring: CAD Operator

Are you a CAD-savvy professional who knows their way around XREFs, layers, and technical drawings? We're looking for a CAD Operator with strong AutoCAD skills and a working familiarity with Lighting, Shading, and Audio-Video (AV) systems.

What You’ll Do:

Work extensively in AutoCAD, managing XREFs, layers, and file structures.

Produce and maintain accurate technical drawings and schematics.

Integrate Lighting, Shading, and AV components into design files.

Generate details and documentation aligned with industry standards.

Collaborate with project managers and designers to deliver clear, precise, and organized plans.

Help standardize and maintain CAD libraries, blocks, and templates.

️ What You Bring:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, including XREF file handling and layer management.

Detail-oriented approach with a solid understanding of technical drawings.

Familiarity with Lighting, Shading, and AV systems is a big plus.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Bonus: Experience in the AV, lighting, or architectural design fields.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of other design tools like Revit or SketchUp.

Understanding of industry standards (ANSI, ISO, AVIXA, etc.).

CAD or Drafting certification or related degree.
