Seeking a Quality Manager with expertise in mechanical engineering and inspection of machined parts, ideally within the military sector.
Responsibilities:
Establish, implement, and maintain processes for the Quality Management System
Supervise inspections, drawings library, and C of C system
Submit material and documentation to source inspectors
Directly supervise M&TE and its calibration cycle
Program and train on CMM's (Coordinate Measurement Machine)
Train inspection personnel
Update and review forms/processes for inspection needs/customer requirements
Inspect incoming/outgoing materials; decide on lot acceptance/rejection
Verify inputs from Internal Supplier before delivering to Internal Customer
Lead daily inspection activities; monitor work performance of Inspection team
Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering degree or extensive experience in inspection field (machined parts)
Managerial experience and ability to supervise quality inspectors
Hands-on inspection experience
Experience with Military Land/Air/Sea (MIL SPEC) parts or related field
Knowledge of ISO standards & AS9120:2016 background
Proficiency in MS Office
