Job Title: Software Engineer (R Programming, AWS, Jenkins, Python)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in R programming and experience in AWS cloud environment. This role requires hands-on development, code deployment, testing and collaboration across multiple technical teams to ensure seamless integration and upstream support of database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications within AWS cloud environments.

• Write and maintain code primarily in R; proficiency in Python is a strong plus.

Experience using Jenkins

• Check out and manage code from repositories; maintain software development best practices.

• Support the upstream phases of database integration and coordinate with database and software development teams.

• Troubleshoot deployment issues, ensuring performance.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, DBAs, and system engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong programming skills in R (required).

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins.

• Experience with AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.) and cloud-native application development.

• Familiarity with cloud environment, code deployment, and automation.

• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with database management or working closely with DB teams.

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

• Exposure to DevOps environment

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple technical teams.

• Self-starter with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
