EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and expertise.
SKILLS
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
Familiarity with power system simulation tools such as PowerWorld, PSS/E, or ASPEN OneLiner.
Experience with SQL is a plus, though not mandatory.
Exposure to software development tools like Git/Bitbucket and Jira is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years of progressive experience (beyond educational requirements) in power systems engineering or a closely related role.
Prior experience within the electric utility industry is preferred.
