We are seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Sales to drive revenue growth across all sales channels, including B2B, B2C, marketplace platforms, and private label manufacturing. This role, based in Corona, CA, is perfect for a results-driven leader with deep experience in the apparel and consumer goods sectors. While experience in law enforcement uniforms, tactical gear, or related products is a plus, it is not required.
The VP of Sales will lead a diverse team, including domestic sales reps, international distribution reps, and private label reps working with department stores and prominent brands. This role is responsible for creating and executing growth strategies, overseeing global sales teams, and aligning sales, marketing, and customer success functions to meet ambitious revenue targets. Building strong relationships across all sales channels, including private label manufacturing and law enforcement-focused reps, is crucial for success. Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse sales team, including domestic, international, and private label reps.
Oversee the performance of international distribution reps, ensuring alignment with global market expansion goals.
Develop strong working relationships with law enforcement sales reps, ensuring they effectively address the needs of clients in the uniform and tactical gear sectors.
Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring the team achieves or exceeds revenue goals.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence within the sales organization.2. Revenue Strategy and Business Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, focusing on B2B, private label, and law enforcement markets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s footprint in key target markets.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure sales strategies align with the company’s broader objectives.3. Managing International & Private Label Reps:
Oversee the performance of international reps, ensuring they meet revenue targets and expand the company’s reach in global markets.
Manage the private label reps working with department stores and high-profile brands, ensuring strong relationships and the successful introduction of new products.
Align all sales reps, whether domestic or international, with the company’s overarching growth objectives.4. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, deeply understanding their needs, business volume, and client base.
Provide guidance and support to the sales team in client engagement, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.
Ensure the sales team fully understands and meets the unique needs of each client.5. Sales Team Training and Development:
Train and coach the sales team on best practices for client engagement, negotiation, and territory management.
Identify and address skills gaps within the team, providing development opportunities to drive performance improvements.
Promote a collaborative culture within the team, fostering innovation and exceeding sales targets.6. Sales Operations and Reporting:
Oversee daily sales operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process.
Provide senior leadership with data-driven reports on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of senior sales leadership experience, preferably in the apparel industry with a focus on B2B, private label, and law enforcement markets.
Proven experience in managing and developing sales teams, including international distribution and private label reps.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
Ability to build and maintain deep client relationships, including a thorough understanding of client needs, business volume, and client base.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills to track, interpret, and use sales data and market trends to drive decision-making.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing sales teams across multiple regions, including international markets.
Expertise in the private label manufacturing process and experience working with department stores or prominent brands.
Familiarity with law enforcement or public safety markets is an asset but not required.Compensation and Benefits:
