Powder River is seeking a Senior Computer User Support Specialist in the Alexandria, VA area to help support our customer base. A successful candidate will provide end-user support for PC and server applications as well as end user hardware. The candidate may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems. Support responsibilities include software installation and configurations. Requirements:

Install and test personal computers, printers, and other peripherals, configure operating system, load shrink-wrap programs and other application software programs.

Troubleshoot user issues.

Contribute to process development within the functional area and where the functional area connects to other operational processes.

Work closely with team members to solve technical problems in a timely fashion.

Qualifications:

Strong collaboration and teaming skills

2+ years of IT technical support experience

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance

CompTIA A+ or better

2 years minimum experience

Nice to have skills:

DoD IT Helpdesk experience

VIP support experience

Cisco Video Teleconference (VTC) experience

Microsoft Office 365 apps experience

ServiceNow ticketing experience

Practical knowledge of Agile and ITIL frameworks

Technical Environment: Working with End- Users, (1500+) working with printers, printer support, fixing operating systems, general file issues and equipment issues.
