Residential Structural Engineer (2+ Years Experience)

What You’ll Do:
Perform structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard engineering software
Partner with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to create smart, efficient structural designs
Prepare technical drawings, detailed reports, and project specs for residential construction
Visit job sites to evaluate existing structures and recommend modifications or repairs
Ensure projects meet all building codes, industry standards, and local regulations
Review and approve construction documents and plans
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
EI Certification required; PE license preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid foundation in structural engineering principles
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Comfortable collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and inspectors via phone, email, and in person
Bonus: Previous experience managing projects or working in residential construction
