Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Civil Engineer for a position located near Seibert, Colorado. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing civil expertise, with a focus on evaluating project drawings and handling requests for information (RFIs) across multiple projects.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

Reviewing and interpreting design drawings, studies, and technical analyses to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

Managing submittals and RFIs by collaborating with project stakeholders and engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.

Supporting the construction team by addressing civil engineering-related inquiries, clarifying design or construction details, and troubleshooting on-site issues.

Assisting in planning, reviewing, and providing direct technical support during construction phases to ensure alignment with approved designs.

Coordinating with other engineers to ensure the construction work adheres to design intent and meets regulatory and project standards.

Requirements of the Civil Engineer:

9+ years of civil engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited school or strong/commensurate experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical skills.

Resource should have knowledge of/familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract.

Previous experience with software including ProjectWise, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore.

SAP experience is a plus.

Professional Engineering license, or Engineering in Training/certification to become a professional engineer preferred.
