Mid-Level Litigation Associate – Products Liability

Hybrid Multiple U.S. Locations

Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join a national Am Law 100 firm with a strong reputation in pharmaceutical and medical device product liability litigation. This position offers a hybrid work environment and is open in any of the firm’s U.S. offices listed above.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and expert witnesses

Supervise junior associates

Conduct factual development and deposition prep

Draft and review discovery responses, briefs, and motions

Contribute to strategy development on complex litigation matters

Ideal Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school

Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, ideally at an Am Law 100 firm

Bar admission in the jurisdiction where applying (New York bar preferred)

Significant experience drafting Rule 702/Daubert briefs

Background in product liability litigation; pharma/medical device experience a plus

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities

Compensation:

Base salary range: $250,000 – $370,000, depending on experience and market
