We are looking for a Senior Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on designing and implementing robust data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and APIs to enable seamless data integration and management. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to integrate data from various systems, including data lakes and application APIs.

• Leverage cloud services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda to build and manage data infrastructure.

• Ensure smooth data integration across systems and platforms to support organizational needs.

• Create and manage APIs to facilitate data access and integration with other applications.

• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security.

• Optimize data processing workflows for enhanced performance and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.

• Provide mentorship to less experienced data engineers and lead technical projects to successful completion.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on cloud-based environments.

• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.

• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience with API development and data integration processes.

• Solid understanding of data management, governance, and quality best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with leadership and mentorship experience.
