We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative for our client in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position involves providing exceptional assistance to clients within the non-profit sector, specializing in housing-related programs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling inquiries, resolving issues, and learning about Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) and Fair Housing policies. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to inbound calls promptly, addressing client questions and concerns with professionalism.
• Provide accurate information about housing programs, including Low-Income Tax Credit Housing and Fair Housing policies.
• Resolve customer issues by identifying solutions and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of client interactions in the database.
• Manage email correspondence efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up on inquiries.
• Process data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to update and manage client information.
• Assist with order entry and ensure all processes align with organizational protocols.
• Support both inbound and outbound call operations to meet department goals.
• Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Familiarity with Low-Income Tax Credit Housing (LITCH) and Fair Housing policies is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and reporting.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience with scheduling appointments and managing client interactions effectively.
• Knowledge of general data entry and email correspondence best practices.
