Job Title: Service Administrator $18-$25/hr 1st shift

Job Description

As a Service Administrator, you will perform routine and recurring clerical duties including typing, filing, scanning, and the preparation of standard forms. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth administrative processes. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment are essential. You will serve as a key liaison between customers, service teams, and management.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update the Service Calendar as directed.

Create customer accounts for Service Calls and Parts Orders.

Retrieve Parts/Service Invoices for customers.

Assist the Service team with booking and coordinating travel.

Process customer requests via phone and email promptly.

Create and maintain the Customer Library.

Review and submit weekly expense reports.

Create Service Calls in the MRP system and add time and expenses.

Prepare reports, letters, routine correspondence, and research information.

Source parts for the Parts/Service department.

Process Credit Card transactions for Parts Orders and Service Calls.

Assist with the management and organization of the Service Contract program.

Promote and maintain a positive work environment by providing excellent customer service.Essential Skills

Valid driver's license.

1+ year of service admin experience.

Proficient computer skills.

2 years of experience in a warehouse or stock room.

High School Diploma or GED.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with forklift, inventory, and material handling.

Skills in picking, general labor, RF scanner, and data entry.

Customer service and invoicing experience.

Knowledge of parts inventory, warehouse, cycle counts, production, packaging, blueprints, purchase orders, and service.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role requires work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexible hours available. This position is based onsite and is part of a union shop with 110 total employees. You will work on a small team and independently. The facility is non-climate controlled and specializes in manufacturing machines that produce duct work. Clients are located globally.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
