Required Skills & Experience
-1+ years of experience as a Slitter operator
-Team player; should have strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other team members and properly report any issues -Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during operations.
-Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
*This position will eventually be moved over to 2nd shift - must be open to working 2:30pm-10pm.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Operates steel slitting line efficiently and follows operational protocols.
• Adheres to production schedules by executing machine orders accurately.
• Provides steel samples as required for quality control purposes.
• Assumes responsibility for executing all assigned administrative tasks.
Compensation:
$48k to $52k per year annual salary.
