Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Assembler. This is a first shift position, Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of mandatory overtime until 4:30 PM, including some Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

Assemble sub-components and finished products, requiring basic product and process knowledge.

Fit and assemble metal products using hand and power tools.

Operate hand and power tools, as well as an overhead crane, to build heat exchangers.

Lift and fit products together, requiring the ability to lift 60 lbs or more.

Work with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.

Perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.Essential Skills

Experience with hand and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics.

Experience operating an overhead crane.

Mechanical aptitude and experience with tape measures and blueprints.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (if not currently held, must obtain within a certain time after conversion to permanent status; company offers a GED program).

Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and up to 60 lbs with assistance.

Capability to walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

Proficient in using hand and power tools.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.75/hr.
