Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis in White Oak, Pennsylvania. This is a long-term contract position offering approximately 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting operations within a collaborative and detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and ensure all entries are accurate and up to date.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and precise processing.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documents for tax and audit purposes.

• Organize and maintain comprehensive financial records for easy accessibility and compliance.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

• Provide occasional administrative support to enhance the efficiency of office operations.

• Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to streamline bookkeeping tasks

This position is on-site in White Oak, PA. The hours are flexible (20 hours per week) and will be worked during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks; training will be provided as needed.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

• Experience with UltraTax or SurePrep is a plus but not required.
