Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating packaging equipment during your shift to meet production demands. You will be expected to learn and operate various machines and may need to supervise multiple machines simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Ensure the use of correct raw and packaging materials according to product specifications.
Set up and operate machines efficiently.
Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to machines.
Upload packaging materials and manage changeovers, averaging 3 to 5 daily.
Communicate with mechanics to address mechanical issues and repairs.
Run equipment to minimize scrap of raw and packaging materials.
Meet standard production quantities and rates.
Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions.
Perform minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
Clear away damaged product containers.
Inspect filled containers to ensure compliance with product specifications.Essential Skills
Proficiency in machine operating and production processes.
Ability to perform troubleshooting and machine setup.
Skills in changeovers and uploading packaging materials.
Effective communication with mechanics regarding repairs.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, packaging, and inspection.
Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical processes.
Ability to read and understand schematics.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM's).Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This position involves a non-temperature controlled environment, with conditions reaching up to 125 degrees in certain areas or colder depending on the product being processed. You will be working with various food products, including nuts and items containing red dye. The dress code prohibits jewelry and acrylic nails.
Schedule: 1st or 3rd shift 3am-3pm or 3pm-3am
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Villa Rica, Georgia.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00/hr.
