We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Woodland Hills, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong technical background who thrives in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

• Prioritize tasks and ensure the team is equipped with clear, actionable work items.

• Engage with developers and architects to address technical needs, including managing and organizing technical debt documentation.

• Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage workflows and maintain project transparency.

• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in business processes and technical solutions.

• Partner with engineering teams to support Agile workflows and ensure smooth execution of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs) and process flows.

• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure mutual understanding and project success.

• Support testing efforts such as A/B testing and quality assurance to validate system functionality.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software or application-specific environment.

• Proficiency with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Experience conducting gap analyses and creating business requirement documents (BRDs).

• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-starter with the ability to adapt to dynamic and occasionally chaotic environments.

• Background in eCommerce is a plus but not required.
