Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Los Banos, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent opportunity that provides an excellent entry point into the accounting field, with room for growth and learning. The ideal candidate will support various accounting tasks related to ranch operations, including cost tracking and purchase order management, while utilizing their expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for ranch operations.
• Track and monitor costs associated with ranch locations to ensure accurate financial records.
• Enter and maintain cost data in Microsoft Excel for budgeting and reporting purposes.
• Support the integration of purchase orders into the accounting system.
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Provide support for general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and data entry.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to the expansion of the accounting department by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Experience in cost tracking or a background in farming is a plus but not required.
