We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Network Engineer to join our reputable team. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network solutions to address complex business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies and a strong background in VMWare.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and support network solutions to meet complex business requirements.
2. Provide high-level technical support for networking systems and environments.
3. Collaborate with other team members to develop comprehensive network designs.
4. Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for optimization.
5. Develop and maintain documentation related to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
6. Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained in compliance with IT Security policies.
7. Troubleshoot network-related issues and provide timely resolution.
8. Serve as a technical expert in networking technology for our clients.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a network engineering role.
3. Proven experience with VMWare.
4. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
5. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
6. Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Relevant professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or VCP-NV are highly desirable.
