Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and organized Material Handler to join our dynamic team. This role involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips. The ideal candidate will ensure that all certificates of analysis (COAs) are present, store and distribute materials in designated areas for optimal organization and accessibility, and prepare materials for shipment while adhering to shipping standards.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips, ensuring all COAs are present.
Properly store and distribute materials in designated areas, such as KANBAN and Stockroom.
Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping standards.
Complete all production and inventory-related system transactions in a timely manner.
Assist Materials team in Kanban component fulfilment and cycle count processes.
Provide work order support to meet production schedules and assist in production prioritization.
Collaborate with other departments to fulfill production needs and respond to material requests.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Essential Skills

High School Diploma required, AA preferred.
At least 4 years of experience related to purchasing in a manufacturing and engineering environment.
Problem-solving abilities and the ability to influence others through data and strong relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office.

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, where you will work with various inventory and ERP systems. The role requires adherence to safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $27.00/hr.
