Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for the basic setup and operation of various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools. These machines are used to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metal. The role varies slightly between shifts, with the 1st shift focusing more on deburring and operator functions, while the 2nd shift involves more CNC operations.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools.
Deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metal using specified equipment.
Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system.
Read and understand manufacturing orders.
Use and read various types of measuring equipment.
Operate various hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines, such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.
Work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain punctuality and reliability.Essential Skills
Experience in machine shop operations.
Ability to operate and understand various machines and tools.
Proficiency in reading manufacturing orders and using measuring equipment.
Reliable and punctual with a willingness to work overtime when needed.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with CNC operations is beneficial.
Experience in assembly and general production.Work Environment
The work environment requires the use of safety glasses or goggles meeting the ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirement with permanent side shields. Safety shoes that meet the ANSI Z41 standard with a steel or composite toe are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
