Job Details

We’re looking for a Project Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in public works and asphalt paving projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building up our presence in the region while working with a supportive and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of asphalt paving and public works projects.

Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to ensure projects stay on track.

Monitor costs, budgets, and timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Support contract administration, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and material tracking.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies as needed.

Assist in job site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Use project management software and tools to analyze productivity and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

2-4 years of experience in heavy civil construction, asphalt paving, or public works projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).

Familiarity with DOT and municipal public works projects (a plus).

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with project scheduling, estimating, and construction management software (e.g., Procore, HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar).

Ability to relocate to the Show Low/Taylor, AZ area.
