Job Description

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to support supervisors by creating work orders, scheduling preventive maintenance, and communicating with management and technicians. You will be responsible for purchasing parts, using maintenance repair and operations systems, scheduling projects, and coordinating with vendors. Additionally, you will plan daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and effective time management skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with management to determine optimal preventive maintenance schedules and work orders.

Order maintenance parts by liaising with external vendors.

Communicate with maintenance personnel, supervisors, and managers to ascertain necessary parts.

Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure parts are available for required maintenance calls.

Participate in morning meetings and safety huddles.Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling.

Mechanical aptitude and knowledge relevant to maintenance and planning.

Understanding of maintenance operations and department functions.

Ability to independently and effectively manage time.

Proficiency in working with computers and technology.Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Experience with TabWare and/or P365 CMMS programs.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based in a powder coating facility that focuses on finishing products from other plants in the area. The work environment can be hotter and fast-paced, featuring welders, blast booths, large lay-down yards, and ovens. Flexible hours are available, with shifts ranging from 6am-3pm or 7am-4pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Goshen, Indiana.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $52000.00/yr.
