Application Support Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will provide technical expertise to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of various applications and systems. Your work will directly contribute to resolving complex technical issues and improving system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain application performance to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud platforms, Office 365, and Active Directory.

• Manage and support ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution of customer and internal requests.

• Provide expert-level support for Cisco, Citrix, and other networking technologies.

• Configure and maintain firewall and backup technologies to safeguard system security and data integrity.

• Assist with the deployment and configuration of computer hardware and software.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system integrations and improvements.

• Administer Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing technical concerns promptly and effectively.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

• Proven experience with cloud technologies and application support.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 administration.

• Hands-on expertise in Cisco, Citrix, and Dell technologies.

• Familiarity with firewall and backup technologies for system security.

• Proficiency in using ticketing systems to manage technical support tasks.

• Solid understanding of computer hardware and configuration management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented approach.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
