Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and self-motivated assembler to join our team. This role involves the assembly of dance floors and decks, utilizing various hand and power tools. Candidates will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in different departments, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate as part of a two-person team to assemble dance floors by gluing pieces together and attaching hardware.

Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.

Assist in the deck area by gluing parts, using hand and power tools, and trimming excess material.

Adapt to different tasks and assist in other departments as needed.Essential Skills

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to pass a tape measure test, reading test, and math test.

Capability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with general labor, production, assembly, construction, machine operation.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, mechanical assembly, packaging, and reading blueprints.

Work Environment

Work on the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional Fridays for overtime. The production environment is clean, though it can become warm and somewhat dusty due to working with wood products. The dress code allows for casual attire, such as jeans, and requires shoes to be all leather and lace-up, though steel-toed shoes are not mandatory.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
