Aerotek is hiring General Laborer for Steel Fabrication Shop

Location: Airway Heights, WA

Shifts:

Day Shift: 5 AM - 3 PM (Monday - Thursday)

Swing Shift: 3 PM - 1:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)

Job Responsibilities:

Lift and move steel plates (up to 75 lbs)

Read blueprints to assist with layout and assembly

Operate basic tools (grinders, tape measure, mag-based drill)

Perform prep work for welders, including removing rust and mill scale

Assist in tracking parts via software and ensure smooth workflow

Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes (training provided)

Organize and transport cut-to-size plates for machining

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to lift 75 lbs comfortably

Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn

Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Experience in fabrication, grinding, or assembly preferred but not required

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
