SAP ABAP Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and support ERP systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex business requirements and convert them into detailed technical specifications.

• Design, develop, and test ERP/CRM programs to ensure functionality and performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ERP/CRM applications and interfaces.

• Create and maintain custom reports, workflows, and enhancements using technologies such as Smart Forms and Adobe Interactive Forms.

• Develop and manage interface programs including IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Business Add-Ins (BAdIs).

• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to align development efforts with business goals.

• Document development processes, standards, and test plans to ensure clarity and consistency.

• Provide accurate time estimates for development tasks and support activities.

• Lead the design and implementation of system customizations and enhancements.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply best practices to ERP/CRM development.• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ERP/CRM development, with a focus on attention to detail.

• Expertise in ERP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM), and Financial Accounting (FI).

• Hands-on experience with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, User Exits, and Workflows.

• Proficiency in interface technologies including IDOCs, RFCs, and BAPIs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred experience with S/4HANA and knowledge of Fiori/UI5 development methodologies.
