NOW HIRING YARD OPERATORS ON 1ST SHIFT

Location: The Villages, Florida

Shift:1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime Available)

Job Description: Are you a skilled and diligent worker looking for a dynamic role in a supportive team environment? We are seeking a General Production Worker to join our team at The Villages in Florida. This role involves operating yard trucks and terminal tractors, loading and unloading materials, and driving trucks throughout the yard, ensuring safe operation and precise maneuvering of trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate yard trucks and terminal tractors effectively and safely.

Load and unload materials and drive trucks throughout the yard.

Safely back trailers up to docks with precision.

Conduct quality control and quality checks on materials.

Participate in construction-related tasks involving blocks and precast concrete.

Essential Skills:

Experience with yard trucks and yard spotters.

Proficiency in safely operating vehicles and equipment.

Ability to back trailers up to docks accurately.

Knowledge of quality control and quality check procedures.

Experience in construction, particularly with blocks and precast concrete.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience in a construction environment.

Yard dog experience, particularly in safely moving equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
