A Day in the Life of the Sr. Permitting Specialist:

Own and oversee the end-to-end permitting process - from initial application to final approval

Submit permit applications to various jurisdictions (online, in-person, and everything in between)

Coordinate with Sales, Design, Project Management, and Production to prepare and submit complete, compliant packages

Keep a sharp eye on timelines - track permit statuses, follow up consistently, and keep everyone informed

Navigate local and state licensing requirements and maintain compliance at every level

Anticipate roadblocks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving without costly delays

Master multitasker - able to prioritize and juggle competing demands

Eagle-eyed attention to detail - because one small mistake can mean big delays

Communicates clearly, professionally, and with purpose - written and verbal

Collaborates with grace - works cross-functionally with every department

Brings an upbeat, team-first attitude - no task is too small when the goal is success

Requirements

3+ years of permitting experience (signage or construction industry preferred)

Strong working knowledge of city, county, and state permitting processes and regulations

Proficient with permitting platforms, CRMs, and documentation tools

Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-heavy, deadline-driven environment
