Job Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Paralegal to join our Litigation department, specializing in the filing and preparation of necessary documents for ad valorem tax suits. This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Paralegal will manage dockets for multiple district courts, handling a substantial caseload of approximately 1,000 cases. Key responsibilities include preparing and filing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and attending virtual and in-person docket proceedings with attorneys when necessary. The role also involves collaborating with clients, courts, and team members to ensure smooth case management. While previous legal experience is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent time management skills, and be eager to take on challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file legal documents for ad valorem tax suits

• Manage dockets for multiple district courts with approximately 1,000 cases

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of document preparation and filing

• Attend virtual and in-person docket proceedings with attorneys

• Collaborate with clients, courts, and team members to ensure smooth case management

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize job responsibilities

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Professional demeanor and enthusiasm

• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

• Computer efficient with proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software

• Resourcefulness and strong attention to detail

The base pay range for this position is $37,440 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
