Desktop Support Technician (3 Days/Week) - 8 hour shifts

Start Date - end of April

Assignment will run through November 2025 with possible extension

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support across multiple locations in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This intermediate-level role involves resolving hardware and software issues, managing IT equipment installations, supporting network and security protocols, and assisting with small-scale IT projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving software, hardware, LAN/WAN, and peripheral devices.

Perform Install/Move/Add/Change (IMAC) activities and configure new PC equipment.

Support both standard and non-standard IT hardware and software in the field.

Execute system patching and vulnerability remediation using tools like SCCM.

Manage equipment lifecycle processes including installation, upgrades, and disposal.

Assist in the coordination and support of small-scale IT infrastructure projects.

Maintain documentation, update ticketing systems, and follow service operations protocols.

Provide VIP-level desk-side support with timely issue resolution and excellent service delivery.

Collaborate with remote teams and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4–5 years of experience in desktop or field support roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11, Office 365, and Active Directory.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with experience in network support and security protocols.

Experience with tools such as SCCM, LANDesk, Remedy, and ConnectWise.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

Ability to support multiple locations, including remote environments.
