Aerospace Design Engineer

Job Description

Synergetic Industries’ is currently looking for an Aerospace Design Engineer to work in St Louis MO with the Military or Commercial Aerospace industry. The candidate will incorporate structural and interior requirements to establish the required design. The applicant will produce 3-D defined model packages with GD&T, notes, and essential dimensions to be released to suppliers for manufacture using NX software. The candidate will be expected to work with a team of engineers across several disciplines.to establish the appropriate design.

A background in the aerospace industry with 5 years experience and understanding of aerospace standards and structures is required. Other engineering backgrounds will be considered based on experience with the tools and skills required. The candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality designs to the customer.

Technical Skills:

NX V-10 through V-12

Capital Mentor Graphics Software

Electrical Design and Routing

Model-Based Definition (MBD) knowledge a plus

Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience

Structures experience a plus

PLM experience in Teamcenter and or ENOVIA

Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience working as an engineer on a multi-disciplined team with frequent interaction with co-workers

Education/Experience Equivalency:

BS/MS in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years Experience

Or 10+ years working in Aerospace Engineering.

This position requires the applicant to be a US citizen
