Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations at our Sutton, MA facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for overseeing the receiving, handling, inventory management, and distribution of telecommunications cable. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can coach, train, and motivate a team while ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and cost-effectiveness.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the on-site leader and hands-on coach/player to the warehouse team
Supervise and train warehouse personnel
Oversee scheduling and staffing for all logistics activities from receiving to delivery
Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendor partners and customers
Track, document, and report service provider performance
Confirm and organize received cable in the warehouse
Manage accurate inventory control and maintain all related documentation
Report on operational performance and escalate issues as necessary
Ensure service commitments (quantity, quality, timing) are met
Implement and enforce strict security protocols for all cable inventory
Schedule and consolidate outbound deliveries to reduce transportation costs
Promote and enforce safety practices to maintain a safe work environment
Protect equipment and materials from damage or injury risks
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and labor regulations
Assist in creating and enforcing job protocols and standard operating procedures
Develop and monitor operational KPIs, perform regular data analysis
Identify and execute on opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in warehouse management, supply chain, logistics, or related field
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse environment
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with industry-related procedures, terminology, and cost structures
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and build trust across teams and vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Eagerness to grow professionally within the Operations function
Physical ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds, stand/walk/bend for extended periods
Ability to pass a physical fitness test
Proven forklift operation skills and ability to pass internal certification
