REPORTS TO:

Director of Advancement. This person will be an active member of the Advancement Team.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and enroll prospective students. This role requires a dynamic, outgoing individual with a passion for education and the mission of Incarnate Word High School. The Coordinator will work closely with school leadership, faculty, and staff to achieve enrollment goals and ensure a smooth admissions process.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive student recruitment plan aligned with the school’s mission and enrollment goals.

Identify and target key markets and demographics for potential students.

Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, including open houses, school visits, and community outreach programs.

Establish and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, feeder schools, and community organizations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries from prospective students and their families.

Coordinate interviews, campus tours, and shadow days for prospective students.

Collaborate with Communications Specialist to create engaging recruitment materials, including brochures, social media content, and website updates.

Develop and deliver presentations to prospective students, families, and community groups.

Oversee the admissions application process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of applications.

Track and analyze recruitment and enrollment data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Prepare regular reports for school leadership on recruitment and enrollment metrics.

Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and admissions data.

Communicate scholarship opportunities to prospective and current students and their families. Oversee management of scholarship process to include creating and updating the application, compiling all applications, and sending scholarship award notices to families.

Support signature events of the Advancement team.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related area, preferably in a Catholic or private school setting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student database ie. Blackbaud.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
